1. Kusumagraj
He was a Poet, author, marathi poet, playwright, novelist, short story writer, humanist.
His work Vishakha which was published in 1942, which is masterpiece of Indian Literature. Vishakha a collection of lyrics, which inspired a generation during the Indian Freedom Movement.
Kusumagraj served as President of Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan in Margao in 1964.
Born - He was born on 27th February 1912 in Nasik Bombay.
Died - He was died on 10th March 1999 in Nasik Maharashtra.
Award
-1974 Sahitya Akademi Award in Marathi.
